Theresa L. Rinderle, M.D.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Theresa L. Rinderle joined The Family Doctors in 1993 upon completion of residency training at Louisiana State University Medical Center, Lafayette, Louisiana in 1993.  Dr. Rinderle served as Chief Resident during her final year of residency training. 

Upon graduation, Dr. Rinderle received the Gerald R. Gehringer Award in Family Medicine. This award is given to one physician within the state of Louisiana each year.

Dr. Rinderle joined The Family Doctors soon after graduation.  She is a board certified family physician and has been awarded the degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  In addition, Dr. Rinderle is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist in reading bone density test.

Dr. Rinderle is married to Dr. Kevin Murphy, one of our physicians, and has 3 sons.  She enjoys spending time with her children, cooking, scrapbooking and getting home to New Orleans.
