Dr. David Colvin began private practice upon completion of residency training at LSU Health Science Center in 1998. Prior to relocating his practice to The Family Doctors, Dr. Colvin worked at Christus Health - First Care Center located on Bert Kouns and at Doctors Hospital-Ashley Ridge location. Dr. Colvin is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Colvin serves as clinical investigator for several research studies being conducted at The Family Doctors.
Dr. Colvin enjoys traveling, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with his wife Julie. Dr. Colvin is a member of Ellerbe Road Baptist Church.
