Dr. Katie Bourque Kerr began practicing medicine at The Family Doctors upon the completion of residency training at MacNeal Hospital located in Berwyn, IL, outside Chicago. During residency, she worked at both University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital and Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kerr served as Chief Resident over 39 residents at MacNeal during her Family Medicine Residency.

Dr. Kerr was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and attended Byrd High School prior to attending college at LSU in Baton Rouge where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She attends The Cathedral of St. John Berchmans. Dr. Kerr’s personal interest include cooking, traveling, gardening, health, and nutrition.
