Nancy Berry is a dedicated family nurse practitioner who joined The Family Doctors team in September 2024. Nancy is a Bossier City native who graduated from Northwestern State University with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. Nancy has over a decade of nursing experience, she spent her early days in the surgical/trauma intensive care unit at Ochsner LSU Health, she also has experience in critical care stepdown and emergency nursing. In addition to nursing, Nancy spent several years as a nursing clinical instructor for Bossier Parish Community College, she enjoyed working with students and giving back to her nursing profession. Nancy began her nurse practitioner career in community health where she closely worked with the underserved population, she gained valuable experience in managing acute and chronic medical conditions. Nancy believes in providing quality and compassionate care for all patients, she loves meeting new people and establishing a good relationship. Nancy is passionate about holistic healing, promotes overall wellbeing and challenges patients to live their healthiest life. Nancy is married to David Berry and they have two children. During her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, traveling, creative projects, listening to music and watching sports.
